Regional Vice President - Eastern Region

The Role

The Regional Vice President position partners with a Regional External Wholesaler (Regional Managing Director (MD)) to manage existing and create new relationships with financial advisors to increase Legendary Capital’s visibility and market share. This is accomplished through a highly consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone and digital means (e-mail, online video conferencing, CRM, etc.), so advisors can effectively and confidently offer our platform of alternative investments to their clients.

This position is best suited for an individual that has a strong sales focus with excellent organization and phone skills, strong people skills and work ethic, and a competitive drive to succeed. This position is a full-time role, with a competitive base salary + commissions and broad benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement (401k & Roth), and much more).

Duties and Responsibilities

Including, but are not limited to:

  • Support Regional Managing Director (MD) with business development efforts.

  • Provide the partnering MD and Company with reporting related to activity and sales levels for designated sales region.

  • Make proactive sales calls daily with advisors to strengthen relationships and find selling opportunities. This includes sales campaigns, follow-up calls, and other activities as directed towards sales activities goals.

  • Work closely with the region’s MD to develop and execute an appropriate business plan to optimize activity and maximize sales.

  • Schedule quality appointments each week for the region’s MD.

  • Research, identify, and actively convert prospects into producers.

  • Utilize Legendary Capital’s CRM system to create and maintain up-to-date information on the sales region.

  • Maintain a minimum sales activities volume each day towards a targeted number of MD appointments.

  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly goals for new business production.

  • Develop extensive working knowledge of Legendary Capital product offerings.

  • Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of financial markets and the competitive landscape.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.

  • 2+ years of prior investment industry experience, with preference towards wholesaling alternative products (e.g. – Private Placements, BDCs, REITs, 1031 DSTs, QOFs, Interval Funds) to the financial services industry.

  • Clean BrokerCheck report (U4).

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Primarily motivated by sales success and meeting firm/regional sales goals and targets with an emphasis on acquiring new business.

  • Previous cold calling/business development experience required.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications.

  • Exceptional ability to communicate professionally with all members of staff and clients, internal and external to the firm at all levels both in oral and written communications.

  • Superior verbal and presentation skills.

  • Possess excellent high-energy interpersonal and customer service skills, with emphasis on relationship building.

  • Track-record of prior sales success.

  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities a must.

  • Desire to work successfully in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to use initiative and work independently, while also being a team player.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when performing job duties and display a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and respect at all times.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills.

  • Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
